31 Days of Drawing through the Bible

31-days-of-drawing-through-the-Bible

This month I am doing a series called “31 Days of Drawing through the Bible.” My children have been drawing their way through many of the greatest stories from God’s Word, and they have internalized those stories! Some of the drawings are hilarious. For many of the posts, I made a full unit study out of the Bible story, including videos, activities, and printables. I really want parents to bring Scripture to life for their children!

We began drawing back in January, so many of the posts are already here in the index. I will be adding the remaining drawings during the next few weeks. Enjoy!

  1. Oh, that is so sweet! I’ve already shared with my sister so she can do it with her son!
Your children must have loads of fun! 🙂

My kids are learning so much as they bring the Word of God to life through their drawings. Sometimes their drawings are hilarious, and they choose scenes that are full of drama. It’s fun to see how they will draw a certain story.

  2. Lynn says:

What a great idea! Not only do the kids embed in their minds events of the Bible, they also get to express their creativity.

  3. Great idea. I’ll have to do something like this with my kiddos.

  4. Stacie says:

I really like this idea! I like how you have been making unit studies out of them and having them draw.

  5. Pinned! I’m ready for the Armor of God one now! LOL

  6. Julie says:

This is a great way to learn Bible studies but also bring creativity and imagination to the story!

    • Susan says:

We had so much fun with this because the kids picked different scenes from each story, and how they depicted it was often unexpected and revealed what the kid had learned through the story.

  7. Christina says:

This is such a great way to internalize, treasure and pass along the stories! Never thought to do this before, but now thinking this would be such a great way to help with long breaks during digital learning.

  8. Hilary Doyle says:

This is so cool! I’ve never seen this idea before – incredibly unique and creative!!
