We use Horizon up to 3rd grade, mostly because it’s so colorful. My kids all loved it.

P.S. Which math program are you using for her? Is it Horizons? And do you like it? We’ve always used Saxon, but I actually decided to start Gracie out in Horizons this year. If nothing else, it’s so much more visually engaging than Saxon for the early grades.

That pesky word “all” can cause problems. If the word “five” was removed, then the answer would definitely be 2! Either way, I think her reasoning is adorable.
